Labyrinth activities in the Wakefield, Yorks area

Labyrinths are an integral part of Linda King’s work both as a creative facilitator and visual artist.  "I am interested in combining other forms of creative self expression, consciousness raising and community building within the Labyrinth event or workshop and am constantly experimenting with different ways to use their magic."

She is particularly interested in creating ephemeral and semi permanent Labyrinths as part of her community and land artwork. This summer a 200’ wide three circuit labyrinth was mown into the Hay Meadow (shown in the photos) at Nostell Priory,  a National Trust site near Wakefield; this is an ongoing project which will be further developed in 2010 as an integral part of the restoration of the land.

Linda trained with Veriditas in 2006 and combines this knowledge with her background of working as a therapist and healer.
